Hey guys. My name is Chris Taylor and I own and operate Chris Taylor Pressure Washing. I'm a 21 year old college student, who saw an opening in a huge Inland Empire market.

Right now im using a rig that looks like this:

Using an m5X-jet for chemical application and a cheapo GP 18'' surface cleaner.

But I'm 90% sure that I'm going to be switching to a dual Bobcat setup and go to residential washes full time.

My uncle is a big time realtor in the area, and has been constantly asking about getting washes for all the repo'd houses in the area that are for sale through him and his associates.

I'm VERY new at this trade, but I'm open to learn/get feedback from anyone. Ron called me this morning and left a message encouraging me to start posting (ive been lurking here and PT for the past few months).

I'm still trying to figure out the best way to sell house washes out here in the dry climate (we dont get moss and algea like the south and east). It's all just dirt and spiderwebs.

Thanks,
Chris Taylor

Welcome, and good luck. WHat is the big helium looking tank on your trailer?

propane tank for the burner.

dont ask me, the burner says it takes diesel or kerosene... but I dont want to mess with it, and it runs just fine on propane.

Tony- That would be my father's new house. Repo that sat unkept for over a year. Every third house in Southern California has dead grass and cobwebs on it... because no one lives there.

Welcome Chris,

Good to see someone else using Lp.

Call or email when you have a chance.

Welcome Chris to the site. You mentioned Ontario. That was the site for the development of my hydraulic system. Boy do I have stories about there.... All in all, it worked out.

Again.... Welcome

Yeah, and I also live 10 minutes from HydroTek HQ.

Which is why it surprised me that there aren't more PW'ers around here.

If anyone with experience house washing/terra cotta tile roof cleaning in the southwest (dry climate, stucco), that doesn't mind me picking their brain, feel free to call me or shoot a PM.

Thanks,
Chris Taylor

That might be the largest propane tank
