I've done only a couple new brick cleaning jobs. I have a friend that wants me to clean his house. The brick has been layed about 4 mos. now. Will the mortar smears still clean up after sitting this long? Also I've noticed some post about eacochems NMB-80 being a good cleaner to use because it is safe to use around glass and fixtures. Will it clean as good as other cleaners? Is there a place local to Raleigh,Durham Or Greensboro N.C. that I can buy it? Sorry for so many Questions at once ,help and advice appreciated. Jimmy

Hi Jimmy,

Yes, NMD80 will still take care of those mortar smears. CST in Randleman carries NMD80 for the best price.....give us a call as we have another guy that we get together with to buy in bulk (cheaper by the 55) If you want to see the stuff in action, we'll be using in on houses Monday afternoon and on Tuesday next week....less than an hour away from ya :)

Hi Celeste, Thanks for responding, I may be able to get out that way one of the two days. If I see that I will be able to I will give you a call for more info.

Just Wondering...

But what chemicals does NMD80 consist of. Or is there another name for it.

Also Celeste. You seem to know Sunbrite. Would they carry it or something equivilent of it? And do you know the cost of a 5gallon?

NMD80 contains hydrochloric acid (same as Prosoco's line, same as Diedtrichs) however it's the stuff that's NOT listed on the MSDS that is what makes it safer to use on surrounding surfaces. Cost wise, NMD80 is about $45 for a 5-ver, Prosoco is about $65. Don't know about the Diedtrichs, plus there would be shipping & hazmat on it.

I checked the SunBrite website - maybe I wasn't looking in the right place (Pete????) but I didn't find anything.
