I will be doing my first commercial bid for 1116 ft2 of crete and 1615ft2 of tile and grout. the crete is highly stained at door entrance and many gum and rust spots. the floor is pretty soiled as well but does have the black grout. also will have to obviously move furniture and fixtures.

what would be a good price to charge without freaking them out and without underselling yourself.

I was told that .35/ft2 on crete and 1.5/ft2 on floor too much? will be using surfacer with vacuum. I in the alabama area by the way.

Thanks

good thing you are up there , we charge .05 to .08 or a 175.00 minimum per service and we do them everywhere ....... you may get it for a one time cleaning but not for regular maintenance. One time cleaning would be around $200 to $250

I am assuming this is all outside work ?

I agree with u Russ, I would be able to get about $250-$275.00 for this job. Im basing that just off of the SQ FT though.... You got any pics? So maybe we can get a better idea the job... As for the rust, I would use Oxylic Acid, always seems to do a good job for me.....

Thanks for suggests

Thanks for all the advice. sorry bout the signatures new to forums. Sorry dont have any pics. Russ, the tile and grout is indoors.

I turned in the bid today. He said he would fax it to their regional and will get back with me in a few.

Couple more questions? Do ya'll use strictly hot water when running the surfacers or only as needed? Will definitely let yall know if I get the job.

Thanks,

If the mold up there is as bad as it is down here, use the Hot. I use the cold if it isn't that dirty with mold or mildew. On restaurants I always use it. Cost is more but time is less, plus it gets it much cleaner

I always use hot water , the last time I used cold on a job was when I ran out of diesel fuel (hahahaha)
