need help on a huge contract

Anyone have ideas on how to pressure wash a concrete wall about 150feet in the air. It is the top ring of a football stadium. Oh and you cant get a lift in there. I will try to add pics tommorow.

I have ideas, just need pictures to explain to you.

Post some pictures.

Are you sure that it is 150 feet up? It looks only like 100 feet to me. They do make manlifts that would reach that, in your picture there is plenty of room, maybe not all around the facility.

Without pictures of all the landscaping it is hard to be sure.

If there really is no access for manlifts then you have a few options.

1. Hire a window cleaner and have him repel and clean as he goes down.

2. Use a roof roller so when he repels, you can move him side to side.

3. Use a swing stage, you can clean about 20-30 feet wide then move it over.

4. Use a crane with a basket, run lots of hose and have the crane move you into position and side to side with radio or hand signalling, this would be the fastest but the most expensive. You would have to get more pictures and go talk to them and explain what you want to do.
With the crane, you can clean probably 100 feet on each side before moving the crane, depending on how tall of a crane you can get.

Let us know what you decide and get pictures or video of you doing the job.

I was told it was 150 feet, but when I saw it it looked more like 100 to me. I am going to get up ther and see whats ther for an anchoring system. I have never heard of a roof rolling system Chris, how does that work. If I cant do it I would like to contract it out, so I can get something out of it.

On your recent set of pictures, above the doors, is that a walkway? If so, you might be able to get a small driveable manlift up there if there are ramps and just lift up from that walkway and out a little and you can do a lot of it like that.

Something like Tony Shelton's manlift. You pull it behind a truck but you can drive it from the bucket and it goes up 61'.

I will look up some pictures of the roof roller.

Large window cleaning companies that clean tall buildings have them, some might have their own swingstages, a lot of companies rent them.

I cant get a lift up there because it has agled windows on top. I found something called a roof rigger. It is on wheels and lowers you down in a harness, then pulls you back up. Then you push the rigger over to your next spot.

here are some pics for your veiwing pleasure. please tell me your thoughts on how to approach it. It just the top ring they want done.

WOW on the second pic the buildup is so back the place tipped over!:big_boss:
