Well the actual cleaning only took about 2 hours but I had to wait for the manager to lock out the dumpster so no one could try and use it. Then I had to wait for them to move a bunch of pallets so I would have a straight shot pulling the dumpster out from the building. So drive time and all I had about 4 hours in it. On the ones I have done in the past we have been able to do 4 - 5 a day. Averaging around 1 hour cleaning time per dumpster.
We also go to the landfills in the area for some of the trash company's we clean and do the inside of the compactors as well. Those are usually containers that come from restaurants and grocery stores. We did one from a pet food manufacturer and I had to send my employees home afterwards to shower and change clothes they smelt so bad you could smell them and my truck coming from a mile away. The cab of that truck smelled for over a month. Lol. They hated me that day but the rest of the crew thought it was hilarious.
Something to think about though that I bet not a lot of people do. If you wash trash trucks you could talk to them about taking care of this need for them. A lot of times they have their own pressure washers but don't have the staff to take care of it. Just thought I'd share this!
