John, I am going to be real blunt here.
You NEED a REAL web site my friend.
These free MSN type web sites are HARD to get the search engines to "pay attention to".
This is because any free site is usually populated by kids, or others not really serious about building a web presence.

Yahoo has a great deal going for a web site and hosting, that is what Russ is using.

Man, you NEED a real web site.

My kid was born in Sacto, and I have been to Stockton and Davis many times.
HTF are people gonna find you John ?

OOOH Shotsky, this is NEVER gonna work for you John!

My GOD, this is a MSN GROUPS web site.

It is NOT showing up in any local searches my Man, and it will not either, NEVER.

Do NOT delete it, YET.

You can simply move the info OFF of it onto a real web site WITH a domain.

Your Domain should be www.hotwaterwizzard.com IF that is how you want to be known ?

I am sure it is availiable ?

First, get and register your domain.

Next, either get a Yahoo web site like Russ, or find another low cost DIY type web site, OR have someone do it for you.

IF you want your OWN Board, no problem!

You CAN find free board software and hosting, and make it a part of your web site.

I do not use this website as advertizing. It is a hobby site. My work has a website for business. I do not want people to find me I want them to learn from eachother and share information. The purpose is not for me and my profit. I do not own a business. I am a service tech for a Hotsy Dealer and I fix things. So you see I have no need for a real website. I don't make enough money to pay for it anyways.
I use to own that domain name but I could not afford to do anything with it.

Do this. Type hotwaterwizard in to google.
Bamm There it is.
Now try Yahoo Bamm there it is.

NOW I see what you are talking about.
I THOUGHT you were a business selling hot water pressure washers, and so I did a search for you like a customer who did NOT know your name did.

IF visitors KNOW your name, they will find you.
If not, you are screwed, search engine wise.

If it is a hobby, then no big deal.
But, if my potential customers could ONLY find me by typing in my name on a search, I would be concerned.

But then, this is not a hobby for me.
