Ok I'm about to take a hatchet to my truck it has me pulling my hair out!!
I did a run up the hill (Flagstaff) and on the way back it ran like crap. I was thinking it's the gas in Flag and the elevation since you go from 900ft to 7000ft elevation. I mean it ran so bad all the way back I about had a nervous breakdown.
So I get back into the valley and it runs fine.......a day of rest then back to hitting the bricks, guess what it's running rough very rough top speed 35mph if I can get it into 4th otherwise is shakes rattles and barely rolls. This has me baffled.
I'll research a little and get under the hood come sun up. If anyone has any ideas I'm all ears at this point.
Oh btw it's a 300 straight 6 has always been very dependable .....although it doesn't like hills and seems to hate Flagstaff.
On a side note it was cold up there.
