Here is a video of my first demo

OK, since I took some of the pics, I get some liberty with the arrangment. This video (and especially the musical accompaniment accurately reflects how Chris felt when he finished this demo.

(I put it on my site because he's directing the customer to his site.)

Thanks

we used caustic beeds. we took pics with 2 canon camera's

Nice, one suggestion if you plan on having before and afters on a web site or printed stuff, take both shots from the same place.

Tony/Chris nice demo, what did the manger say?

That waterjet sure looks like a winner. Of all the videos of surface cleaners I have seen, every time I see the wetjet they seem to sound and look like the bar is the fastest of any surface cleaner, steeleagle a close second.

Has anyone measured the speed of their spinners?

Tony that would be a great experiment at the Vegas Round Table. Same Pressure washer, same size & brand of new tips (each) on varying models of surface cleaners and measure there max rpms output. Then vary the flow/pressure to see how it affects rpm.

(Only one rig I could think of that is capable of this monumental task at the touch of a button :) )

What tips did you use in this demo video? Your machine is a 5gpm correct? Or have you bumped the speed on the pump already?

We're using 1525 (is that right?) 15 degree 2.5 tips. I haven't bumped up the pulley yet, I don't look forward to getting into that tight fit in the truck and trying to get the pulleys off.

Apache helicopters bow down to the RPM of Jim's surface cleaners. I hear they have to be anchored down with concrete anchors to stay on the ground. :D Seriously though, I don't remember the RPM on the Water Jet, but I would like to to a lot of experimenting with that variable pressure and gpm Jim's got.

Roger, It was great to meet you and talk with you at the Alabama Round Table along with Trey. Great conversations at the track too. Thanks.

Chris, I would try to get the before pictures in the daytime and the afters very early in the morning as the sun is coming up because it will get dirty quick when the place is open or customers arrive.

The concrete will be brighter and look a lot better by just being daytime instead of nite time.

Good work!

Tony

I wouldn't be surprised if you had an extra 1/2 gallon in your machine right now. Put on a #6 tip and adjust your unloader while you watch your pressure gauge - should have one mounted permanantly at the pump or unloader. If you hit 3000 psi thats 5.2 gpm.

Thanks, I'll try that.
