I don't know. I think that there might be somepeople that would take notice along the Sunset strip if Matt wore a red one...

I'll tell you guys something lately here in LA there have been several freeway shootings over the past few weeks and they have not caught any of the shooters........People have died.
It makes me think twice about hitting the road sometimes.
I mean I have a wife, 3 kids and a nice big morgage all counting on me to be there for them.
Climbing ladders are one thing and is a risk that I accept but am I risking my life everyday by driving around LA????? Lately I feel that way.

I think you could safely drive down the freeway as long as you didn't engage anyone unless its safe eye candy.
Don't look at them, don't move your lips when they cut you off, just yield to these idiots because at the end of the day you are able to go home and they will still be an idiot.
If you drive alot, and you do Chris, make sure you don't have Road Rage when you get on the road. Think about it, just consider it to be part of the job and your performance is being evaluated by your wife and kids.
We have the same problem here in Dallas. Heck Dallas is the murder capitol in the US.

The worst part about LA is that it is nuts on over passes that are just taking pot shots, so that there is not any road rage involved, just cold blooded murder.
Years ago I had a bunch of truck drivers that worked for me. One day the biggest baddest and loudest mouthed one of the bunch was driving down teh freeway and someone dropped a brick from an over pass through his windshield. It went through the windshield in front, through the back glass and destroyed the reefer. The driver lost control of ALL bodily functions. He was a sh**** pee*** mess after that, along with puke all over the cab. Ended up trashing the truck because they could not get the smell out of it. He wasn't so bad after that. we figured the brick missed him by inches.

I hit a pot hole in the highway last week, I couldn't believe it. They usually have tham all patched up by this time of the year. The cold winters don't sound so bad after reading this post. I think I'll stay here in the Midwest. That is until all the east coast and west coast crazies migrate inland.
