Lets see some trail cam photos

Hey Tim....

I thought you and the other Florida guys that were complaining about your micro-deer would like this:)

This is where me and my dad hunt...we just went this last year for one day, but my lucky dad plopped down and this buck came running straight towards him. Decent buck, 11pt and scored right at 150.

Other two pics are deer harvested off the property but one of the guys that farms it. Definitely some nice deer....normal for the area. We hunt in Clark County, MO---this is the top northeast county in the state. Wierd, cross the river into IL or go north into Iowa, and the deer are substantially better. Those states keep their doe population down better, and they don't let you use a rifle....have to use slug or muzzle. I think that really improves the quality.....otherwise you can just sit on the edge of a field and snipe off deer 500yds away (like we do in Missouri:D )

Nice bucks!!! I would love to see a 150 this year. A guy in our lease last year in Ga shot a pope & young 154. You guys up that way have the big boys, that's a fact. Those bucks are very impressive.

This is a feeder I have behind the pond in my backyard.

Are you kidding me? Do you know how hard you have to hunt in Florida to see a rack like either one of those. You have them behind your house? Two bucks or more at a time? I will hunt about 20 days this season and will be lucky to see one with a fat hair sticking out of his head.

I have lived here 7yrs and this is the first year I've seen them. We lost our lab a few months ago, I think he kept them run off. Here is another pic from the other day and one from the first day we saw them. They were in velvet, that was pretty cool. The back of the pond is 130 yds, I sight my rifles in at 100yds in the same direction, hmmm.....

Seeing them in velvet is really cool. I would love to shoot one in velvet. Man, if I were you I would plant some clover or something and start a management program to have some big ones and only take them when they are older.

I don't think my neighbors will let any of them walk. I will keep the feeder full of corn and hope they stay around. The taller tined 8 looks about 2yrs old, he would be a pretty good one in a couple of years.

They are hooked on the corn now, these are not bad deer for where they are.

What part of Georgia are you in? Those deer look like Florida Deer. That is not a put down. They just do not look very heavy. Nice shape to the racks on them! It is amazing how much corn those things can eat!!

Spencer, these are in my yard in Tallahassee. I have some property in Cairo, Ga also. I know what you mean about Fl/Ga deer, that's why I hunt in Ga.

I don't think so, it's pretty cool having them around. I know my neighbors will probably take the two 8pts in the next couple of weeks.

Yeah, If it was me and they were at my house I wouldn't mess with them either. Sucks that your neighbors will shoot them. It would be neat to try to change their diet with different things and see how much you can change them.

Here are all four bucks, haven't had a single doe come in.
