Largo Hotbox Huge Disappointment

Yes it was me. Unfortunately, however, Richard I have a new 115v being shipped to you NO later than Monday(but we're really shooting for this week). I think you should be getting what you paid for from the beginning not something put together after the fact. All I need is the updated shipping address to get it you. I will have the 12v picked up from wherever is most convenient for you. Also to $752 has been credited to your card for the price adjustment. Please contact me at your earliest convenience. As always we will do what's right

These things happen. Thumbs up on the great customer service in this matter.

Wow............., just got a call from the dealer and he is on top of this matter in a good way. He's willing to send a whole new 115 volt hotbox if need be, or swap out the burner assembly and cover the cost for having a local qualified technician do the actual work.

Also the price of the Largo hotbox I bought 3 weeks ago has since dropped $750.00 in price so the dealer says he will refund me that amount in order to keep me from having a bad taste about doing business with them.

He (the dealer) is checking with Largo to see what all is involved with swapping out burner assemblies to see if that's the best route to take. Looks like everything is going to work out fine.

Btw. Rick. I am ordering one from them too. I have been researching these for 6 months. I have a pressure pro 8 gpm cold unit. I called largo they told me for no more than I would be running the burner. 2 parallel batteries would be sufficient with the 12v. I may need to trickle charge them at night. ( or install a solar charger ) for any lack of charging from the pressure pro unit.

I would think that if you are also doing residential, that should be enough to charge the batteries since you would not be using the burner much if at all so maybe not having to put on the charger unless you are doing mostly commercial work.

We have the best vendors posting on this site, Great service as usual Paul!

Bill, thank you so much for all that you have done to turn this inconvenience into something positive. After it's all said and done I'll be coming out on the good foot. Thanks to all in this thread for your concern and helpful input. I got a late start for work today so got home a little later & have not been able to respond to post in this thread. Bill, I'll call you tomorrow morning before I head out to work.

Matt, if you want the 12 volt version maybe they can work out a deal and have the 12 volt Largo sent from me to you. I'm like 5 hours away from Jacksonville, FL so you could actually drive to Greenwood, SC and pick it up. My chemical supplier has a forklift and loading dock and could lift it onto your trailer. But I think I remember you saying you wanted a vertical hotbox due to lack of real estate on your trailer. Still though, maybe a deal can be struck.

Nah... bro... I have zero time for 5 hour drive......... I did look to see where you were though before I posted.. i was thinking the same thing. I don't mind your "Used" one though "LOL" for the right price... I have forklift access at my shop..

But seriously........ Im game to make a happy situation for all, if it benefits me and Paul.. ( obviously you are handled ) Just don't know how to work out the logistics.. For me to drive up there and back my due costs alone would be 1/2 to 2/3 shipping cost ( depending on IRAQ debacle).. let alone time... ( 10 hours??? )

Same here, no spare time for anything lately. But hey, if the stars line up maybe this hotbox will find its way to you. Its the 12 volt 8-12 GPM horizontal Largo Hotbox. It could ship out from my local chemical supplier's shop to your shop.

Steve Toth at Largo is top notch an Bill is an ok guy good to see the mistake was made good.Bill has has those mystery prices on some stuff they are one price one minute then they appear different some time later.

Tell the dealer that unless he plays ball you'll post his name on PWI.
If you paid with a credit card you can cancel payment until your issue is fixed.
