Just back from the Big Sand Box

Hello guys. Happy Valentine to everyone. I just recently returned from Iraq. I've been poking around this bbs for a few days now. I see alot of new names and forums on this site. I would like to say that I like what I see. I've been a member of this site for a while, though I never really posted many times. I currently am building ,or rebuilding NOW, my part time pressure cleaning business. I plan to take it fulltime when I retire from the military. I would like to say thanks to all those great posts that I've read in the past and have read over the last few days. The information I've received has been invaluable to me. I look forward to getting more involved with this site. Have a great day and God Bless you all

Welcome Walt, Thanks for doing what you did in Iraq and welcome home!
What type of PW'ing cleaning do you do?

Hello Walt,
Welcome Home !!!
You guys and gals have my utmost respect for a great job representing our Military. From one Military guy to another--Thank you.

So feal free to fire away with any questions or thoughts that you may have.

Hey John and Grant. Thanks for the compliments. I was just doing my job. John I do plan to ask alot of questions and get more involved on this BBS. Who knows, maybe I can help someone else and actually answer a few. Grant, for now I just do residential work (house, driveways, etc). I bought my rig several years ago, when I was a deputy sheriff and needed additional income. I started to buy the typical homeowner type PW, but luckly through sites like these and the help of a local professional in the business, I bought a trailer mounted tuff 3000 5 gpm hot with assessories (surface cleaners, tanks, good hose reels etc). Over the last few weeks, I've been getting her up and running again. It's amazing what 15 months of sitting idle will do to the maintenance of a washer. Most of the hoses are dry rotting and almost ready to burst,(of course that only happens on the job site, right?) With the help of the wizards posts, I did get my burner up and running again today, so I'm making progress. Some new hose, a few hose repair kits, o rings, a new paint job and a couple of clients, I'll be back in business in no time.

Walt,

I too want to say thank you and welcome back from that oversized litterbox. We're in the piedmont area of NC....in Graham - probably not more than one hour from you. If we can be of any help, give us a call. If you ever want to check to see if we're doing something that you've not done before, give us a call - we'd be more than glad for you to pop on over and tag along :)

Celeste (ex-military spouse)
Roger (once a Marine, always a Marine)

Walt

From one Veteran to another - Thanks.

From one more Vet to another, thanks for volunteering and doing what you do.

GLAD you are back.

Reed
