Just wondering who has used any of the fancy gadgets to assist in cleaning out gutters and downspouts without getting on the roof.
McCauleys Spray Flex Wand?
General Pump Gutter Cleaner?
Gutter Ball?
I know I have experimented with them over the years but cant remember if they worked or I sent a crew out to try and didnt get the feedback

Rob after 15yrs of gutter cleaning I have tried almost every tool out there. IMO they make too much of a mess. I use the gutter cleaning tool from WCR. I put them on extension poles and it really cuts down on the number of times i move the ladder. Hand cleaning works the best and my customers love that I don't make a mess.

I know what you mean. Just trying to see if there is easier and safer way. Is the tool your referring to the one that looks like a spatula you use for flipping pancakes?

Not alway but I sometimes I use the Gutter Rake. Comes in handy from time to time on high jobs

That actually looks a little easier. We typically blow them out with an xjet starting at the opposite end of the downspout and usually have to move once or twice till we reach the downspout. Yes, its messy but luckily were selling a house wash with the gutter cleaning.

They only come in handy for some jobs. But when I need it I have it in the truck. I can reach like 30' with it

For some reason I can't find the FB group where it was posted, but someone made a video of his homemade set up. He uses a wet/dry vac and a series of extension wands fitted at the end with PVC so as to clean out the gutters from the ground. It worked quite well. It wouldn't work in every situation, but most I think. I'm probably going to give this a go next season.

Let me know if you come across the video. I will try and do a little research on it. Theres got to be an easier way
