Dan,

The deck looks great..........it really completes the home. The front of the house looks much better then the picture you posted earlier in the year.

Good job!

Hello Dan S,

That picture from the air is Great. Looks like you are living on a country estate! Nice place. Guess that makes you a country gentleman! :)

your house here in NJ in my area, on a 100 ft by 100ft lot would be in the $450,000 price range.
I guess this is why you cant help people with priceing very much.
Tax's on that would be around $7,000.00 per year.
I just sold my 2 bedroom 1 bath on a 100 by 150 ft lot in a flood zone for $185,000.00 and that was with no realator.
If i needed a realator i would have had to ask $200,000.00
i pay $4000 per year property tax.
$1000 for flood insurance
$800 for reg house insurance
$65 per week for health ins[i am very lucky]
$2000 for truck ins[basic liability only] 14 ft box truck
$1400 for the wifes car
$1000 for the pick-up truck.
never had a insurance claim other then some storm damage
no tickets on my drivers lic in 15 years.
no accidents.
NJ sucks.

Ron P, $7000 a year in property taxes, holly chit!!!!!!

A couple of years ago we sold A 4000 sf home out in the country sitting on 3 acres. The house was about 6 years old, when we moved closer to town and bought the house I have shown here we complained because our taxes went from $885 to over a $1000. Plus your home owners and auto insurance run about 55% higher then mine.

You a correct that there is no way in the world if you and I had to bid identical jobs in our respective home towns (i.e A chili's restaurant) they would be close to the same bid. You would have to bid it considerably higher there then I would here.

check out www.realtor.com
im moving somewhere in TINTON FALLS NJ
It will give you a good idea what im up against.
im going to check out your area for ha ha's.
All the Ha Ha's are on me.
I checked out williamson county.
I am going to buy a house in the $375,000 range.
In your neck of the country that can buy a 4 to 7 bedroom house[brand new] with every toy you can think of on over a acre.
$3000 in tax's.
Here ill be lucky to get a 20 year old house on a 100x100 lot that needs work and pay $6000 in tax's
That's 3/4 bedrooms and one or two toys[master bath/shower stall] and a garage.
Man i need to get out of here.
I could live like a king where you are.
What do you make a year?
I make $35,000 and my wife $60,000[that is the ONLY reason to stay-her job. Also gives me cheap benifets.
What will you spend at the local movie house?
2 tickets to get in $9.50 each=$19
2 med popcorns and 2 med cokes $18
a beer here is $2.50 a bottle at the local bar $3 if they have a band. $3.50 if it's a good band.
Just wondering if it's not better to get paid less but spend less?
Or is it you make the same and spend less?

Ron P seriously you wanna buy a house in TN LOL

Median house hold income for my county is $50,170. As of Data collected in 1999

http://www.ers.usda.gov/Data/Unemployment/RDList2.asp?ST=TN

Which is only about $5000 less then the median income in the state of NJ

http://www.ers.usda.gov/Data/Unemployment/RDList2.asp?ST=NJ

My wife and I's income is comparable to you and your wifes but it cost a heck of a lot less to live here. And one of the reasons we are moving is the cost of living is lower in the area we are moving to.

Movie Tickets $4.50 in the afternoon $6.50 in the evening.

Some bar always has $1 long necks but $1.75 is the max unless you are some place that is high $$ to start with

I snuck around a got a picture of Ron's house. The security guards gave me fits though.

Not sure why Ron brought this one back up, but we still call it home!

Here is a picture of the house this year with a couple of my current interests in front. The tractor is a '30 Case Model C and the truck is a '46 White Model WB-22.
