It just collects dust lately :D I used a garden hose to rinse these systems. :cool:

Not trying to age you here David.....but that is what my generation refers to as classic hard rock.;)

I had a Pantera shrine built in my room in my younger years.....and a haircut like Phil .....not Ackland....in this video.

You may say fear the foam.. You might even say fear the Garden Hose ... But I SAY FEAR ME !!!! Nothing beats Caustic , 3500 psi , 205 degrees of hot water and 18 years of experience.. BOOM!!!! Just hit 205 Accounts Strong .... ( Thats just 205 Stores ) Look Out Mississippi... Wow I really need to hire some Folks.... Hey if yall want to try something fun Downstream caustic and dawn ,, It works great , just remember to rinse out your line and hose....
 
For a long time I have been asking why foam over downstream caustic and I simply can’t get a good response to this comparison. When you take into account setup time and transition to roof, I don’t think you can beat downstream and a strong Caustic mix.:) :confused: Plus we don't have to put up with that awful music.:D :D
 
I have downstreamed caustic for a while now. It works well for most grease, but it doesn't hold a candle to foam when dealing with Italian, Mexican, and Oriental grease.

All depends. There are 2 ways to clean a system, blast everything into oblivion or with finesse.
I use foam, electric washer on roof, garden hose on the hood. I do a 2 ten foot hood 2 ducts 2 fan system in 2 hours. My rig gets 27mpg, I use no gas for the PW, no diesel for a hot box. I dont have 205 accounts but make enough to retire from an 80K year job..................and thats with only 2 years of experience.

Foam does require knowledge and finesse. I dont think its something for the "average" employee crew to use. I use the same hose for foaming as I do for PWing so there is no "transition to the roof". Eventually.........very soon I hope, Im going to have to have a second crew. I do think downstreaming will be the simplest most effective method to use for them.
 
How do you clean the fans if it is a 3 story building? Plus let’s say no water and electric on the roof :)
