I hate bidding, Feedback please

I have to have a bid in for the AM on some buildings.

There are 3 of them 2 of which are 60 ft high and the other is 80 ft.

The terrain is treacherous when wet, we cleaned them last year and lost our shirts. The Genie Boom alarms were constantly going off and it is unbelievably dirty. Baked on grease 2-3 inches this in some parts but not all.

In any event there is a combined 86173 sq ft and my total bid is coming out at just over 30 thousand dollars. Do you think this is unreasonable? Just one of these buildings will tie up two of my guys for 10 days running extreme heat the whole time.

I'd love some feedback before I put my quote in and I know that pricing is different everywhere. Our bid for the box stores was only off by about 20% to low man.. Should I offer a price reduction do to high sq footage?

3000.00 a day, whats your expenses? that Would be my question.

I would say that a reasonable profit is expected. If your daily expense in 300 and your pocketing 2700.00 then I would say ???? Would you pay that if your were hiring yourself. be honest now..

Good questions. I've figured my labour, fuel, soap and other expenses at about 82% (that's including Jerry's time) leaving the company an 18% net profit. The question is, is that enough net profit for the company over a couple of weeks I guess.

They supply the lift as they always have them on site.

Thanks guys! We have a good rapport with this company and have done a lot of work for them in the past. It is easier to come down than up right? I'm going to submit it. Appreciate the call Ron.
