First of all, I'm just getting ready to get back into business after a long break.
Several years ago a restored a customers deck with Wolman's Extreme (their choice) cause at the time I was partial to F&P.
I haven't had the chance since to do a follow up.
Last year, I used what was left of the stain to restore a deck and steps at my house. The deck is PT'd and has never been stained. I used Wolman's brightener to clean it and then I applied the extreme. I noticed the other day that there are areas of the stain failing. Looks like it simply peeled up in some areas.
When I go back full time this spring, I plan to go by this customers house and see if his failed too. If it did, I plan to restore it for free. I need to know how to remove the old extreme, properly clean and neutralize it, prior to re-staining it with something like cabot's or with what ever the customer wants.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
