Hour meter

Hey guys,

I am trying to install an hour meter on my pressure washer, but I can't figure out the best way to wire the thing. It is just a normal ENM hour meter with a positive and a negative prong on the back. So, what is the best way to hook that thing up?

if you have a switch wire it to the switch so it comes on with the switch, hot to hot ground to ground ---fool proof
