Holiday Cards

How many of you plan to send out holiday "thank you" cards this year to your customers?

I've got a few customers that are very friendly. They always remember your name, ask about how things are, ect. I've also got accounts that I couldnt tell you who my boss is because they didnt care to meet before I got the job and dont care who I am as long as I do what I said I would do. Either way, it seems like a good time to show your appreciation.

I'm thinking a box of generic holiday cards would suffice.

Happy Holidays or Merry Christmas???

We send Christmas cards to all our clients. I hand sign all of them.
I have had a few send us a Christmas card after they got ours thanking us for thinking during the holidays.

A couple of thoughts.

One would be NOT to send them a Christmas card, but wait and send them something later in the year when they're not bombarded by cards from everyone else. Or send one now and one again later in the year.

I think cards are always a nice gesture. And my guess is that most people are actually not offended by using the term "Christmas." (Some will actually be more appreciative that you went that route.)

We send out christmas cards to every customer. The girls in the office have been working on this for over a week now.

+1. Everyone does Christmas cards, dont do what everyone else does. Send small gifts instead. If you go that route anyway, make them personalized and "Merry Christmas" on all of them.

I agree with Allison. I used to send out Christmas Cards, but after reading the book Steve Stephens wrote, "The Pressure Cleaning Bible" we (my wife and I) decided to not send Christmas Cards, (and by the way we always sent CHRISTmas cards as we believe we are not celebating a Holiday but rather Jesus' birth, if they got offended, Oh well".) as it makes sense that they can get lost in the shuffle. I was in an office the other day and saw a lady opening cards, separating the cards from the envelopes, and then taping the cards to a door, She never even opened the card to see who it was from.

This year my wife and daughter are making batches of cookies every night and then we (or I) are taking them to our customers the next day, and wishing them a Merry Christmas and saying Thank You in person. We plan to do about 3-5 of these a day. Should be a lot of fun.
