I have been experimenting with my wet vac on the roof, mainly at McDonalds because the fan tends to not want to drain completely. I have been using the wet vac to suck the crud out of the bottom of the fan as I spray it, I also have been using a drain adapter that I bought at sears that replaces the existing drain plug and is threaded for a water hose, to drain the waste water from the vacuum.
My problem is now that I think I have worked all kinks out of the process and want to expand this to the rest of my crews, sears no longer sells this adapter and everyone I ask about it looks at me like I made it up. Anyone nowhere I can get an adapter like this.

Some of the home improvement centers carry vacuums with the drain plug, they usually sell the accessories for that manufacturers vacuums also. I prefer the self pumping vacs with an internal sump pump. They are a little pricey but are very reliable.
