Help anyone!!!!! Been asked to remove lead base paint. Some paint out side, but most of it is in side. Need help on $ per sq. ft. Good, Bad and anything I may need to Know. I Have the Best washers from 5.5 @3500 to 15 @ 9000psi, all are hot water to steam. Even have sand blaster for the washers and are all 2-step radio controlled. This project is 86,650 sq. ft. to remove and cleanup. Paint is on Block walls, and it is an old warehouse. Most important, what safety tips on clean up and disposal of the lead base paint. Any advice anyone can give would be helpful. Thank you Terry Terrys Power cleaning

WWW.WOODSTRIP.COM sells a cream stripper for painted masonary.
The problem will be run-off
most people choose to paint over it, not remove it. [unless its in a house where kids and pets could eat the paint chips]
As far as run off, i would talk to the local EPA.
They can tell you what you need to know, and where to take the collected water.
lead can be absorbed thru the skin so full protective gear is in order.
This is going to be a nightmere.
I would make the customer responsable for the run-off and do this as a time and materials contract.
OR WWW.PROSOCO.COM
they make a product that you can spray on [pump up] it eats the paint off and you peel it off like a big sticker. Bag it and tag it. Then use the pressure washer for final rinse or not at all just paint over the residue. charge by time and materials this is restoration work and you can hit meny snags, so T&M is the best way to go.

First of all you have to have been through a certification class to learn on how to properly remove lead paint. Next must have the proper insurance for doing this.
