Hello my name is Chris, I'm originally from Southern California and relocated. Right now I work for the city of Meridan wastewater department operating a hydrocleaner truck and a second part time job operating heavy equipment. I have always dreamed of working for myself and over the last couple of summers I have talked about starting a cleaning service. Well soon I will no longer work my second job and I am officially working on making it happen. I've been reading on PWI for awhile now and have learned so much. I actually feel like I know more then the guys that are putting up CL ads in my area. But it's time to put it to the test and learn some more. I look forward to building relationships and gaining as much knowledge as I can. Of course the biggest issue is startup costs. There is a local supplier that rents out equipment (hot/cold washers, surface cleaners, trailer units) between $80-$120 a day. I was planning and utilizing this as I get started. Yea it will cut my profit but I won't be out thousands first thing. I don't want to be known as a pressure washer. I want to be known as the go to guy for professional exterior cleaning. I also need to find something to do in the winter months.
