Im FULL TIME NOW!!!!!!!
First big job of this kind.
Scrap metal yard with the worst equipment ive ever seen.
7 year's, never been cleaned.
Anyone that has done this work know's all the type's of equipment.
crane's,loader's,shear's,metal compactor's,ect....
Well not only do they want them clean but they need to go from me to the paint shop.
[OHHH YEAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!] Ibid this one by the hour.
Prob is they want thing's to go a little faster [dont they all]
Im averageing 10 hr's per piece but they want it done in 8.
I have 1 hot water skid, 1 cold water [5 gpm],1 1 1/2 fire hose hooked to hydrent[pre-blasting] 1 flo-jet cart for chem. 1 helper.
I work top to bottom then repete.
I need advise on chem's.
One i need a super stripper for GREASE and dont care about the paint.
Two, a good maint degreaser for after they get painted.

did you think about two stepping them? I just bought some degreaser from a local company used to clean engines and very greasy equipment, I love it. Do you want me to get you prices and info.?

ive been useing my sod hyd based soap with hd80 added at full strangth.
im talking about grease an 1'' thick.
i use hot water only untill i can see paint.
maybe i should try straight caustic soda bead's, like the hood cleaner's use?
