This would be something where we would need to do something to help out in some capacity with any loved ones he left behind...

Is any of the 20 million that BP allotted for "damages" apply to these situations? I agree with the crowd that states that is not enough to compensate for lost business and revenue....but it might be some relief for those who are in desperate situations. What options do business owners have to get compensation for lost business? BP should be paying these people directly. I am not one for the "sue happy" crowd, however, I believe this situation warrants some lawsuits. Correct me if I am wrong there.

The federal government is alloting a czar to decide who gets the money and who doesnt. Which means guys who make alot, wont get chit. Guys who have small struggling business already, will get alot. I do not believe any extra money should go to families of guys like this who commit suicide. Only compensation for lost revenue directly related to the spill.

On another note, it seems kinda fishy. He seemed fine one minute, then BOOM, commits suicide. somthing dont smell right

I was born right on the coast of Grand Isle in Louisiana, got a lot of family down there hurting from the spill. It's a sad sight to see. The people have been carrying this country's weight of pain on it's shoulders for a long time now.
