Applying the vinyl is very easy. The only exception is applying over riv its, takes a heat gun and some practice.
I have done all my own vinyl on our 3 vehicles and my enclosed trailer.
Can't beat the prices at
www.razr.com Give you an example. I recently rented a light plant from United rentals. I watched in amazement as the yard worked took 10 minutes to get the light plant attached to the 2" ball hitch on my truck. He even had to break out o long prybar to get in to seat. Once he was done, I asked him "you sure that's going to hold"? He stated "oh yea". 4 blocks away from the United rental yard all of a suddeb BAM, BAM, BAM. Looking in my rearview mirror I could see the light plant had come off the hitch.
The boom of the light plant slammed into my tailgate, causing several dents. Turned in the estimates to get my tailgate replaced and the vinyl lettering replaced. Went to a local vinyl shop, quoted me $225.00 to replace and install the vinyl. I contacted Mike at
www.razr.com. Sent me the replacement vinyl, $12.00 shipped.
United rentals has now refused my claim, stating that since I do not have any witnesses when the light plant did the damage, they will not honor the claim.
That has taught me all I need to know about United Rentals. I now have accounts at Sunbelt and SunState. Will never deal with United rentals again. $1167.00 out of pocket to replace my tailgate. Ironically, I had 3 boom lifts scheduled for 7 days with United rentals for a job in 2 weeks. Canceled that reservation, reserved at Sunbelt, and they are cheaper by about 25%.
Anyways, contact Mike or Jill at
