We were proud today to get a phone call from one of the fire marshals we deal with here. The first hood job we ever did he inspected yesterday. He showed up while I was cleaning it and told me it was the dirtiest hood in town (which i wasnt sure if I believed him, but hey). Anyway, he told me today that it was cleaned better than any hood he has seen and that he was very impressed with the quality work and set up we had. He also told me about a few restaurants I should go visit that he recently inspected that he told them they have to get there hoods cleaned. His said that he would send work my way, because the other outfits in town do not clean how they are supposed to. Anyway, we as a young company were very happy and proud of that phone call and I want to pass some thanks to all the people on here that have given advice and help to us newbies. Sorry I didnt take pictures of this job, stupid me forgot the camera on our first hood.
 
The Fire Prevention officers that I work with have a stack of my cards :D and they constently ask for more. They cannot solicit for me, but when they are asked they ARE allowed to mention my name and it just so happens that they have one of my cards handy :D

Also, Trey, you want to get in good and network with a fire surpression company...they have been one of my greatest allies.
 
I am definately working on my network of allies. I will check in with some fire suppression companies. I thought about taking on that venture as well eventually. The fire marshall told me he can not solicate for me, but he said he will call me and let me know if he inspects a place that needs cleaning and tell me that I should go visit. He also has my cards.
 
Definately make friends with the fire prevention people in your area. I found them to be my best advertisement and salesmen. I get referalls when they go to service the system and they find it dirty they call us. Likewise we call them when the extinguishers and ansul links need service. We referred them about 8 months ago to a bed and breakfast and they ended up getting a$34,000 contract to re-do the hood system so he owes me and that explains why he sent me a birthday card too..
 
It is always a good idea to network all of your customers and contacts. I can't tell you how many jobs were handed to me because I referred a cusotmer to someone, who knew someone... Besides it feels good to help out once in a while.
 
That's good news!! Keep up the good work...Send your check to FaciliBryan for your cert!! I wish the Fire idiots here had a clue!! Maybe if Josh keeps chasing the criminal cleaners down here the Fire officials will enforce some bear mininimum standards.
 
All you'll be seein are bear minimum prices;) Maybe we should run them to Canada...or Mexico. Or better yet Venezuela.
