I am not all that new to residential house cleaning and am working on putting together a targeted mailer, but I feel the before and after pictures I have and keep trying to take, are not of a very good quality and dont want to attatch them on a mailer.
Would anyone be willing to share some residential vinyl and stucco side before and after pictures, and also allow me to use the on a mailer?? I will copy/paste off a website if that works also--but I wont do unless permission is given--I respect others and the work they do! Thank You, TOM

I invested in a high quality camera and take the pic's at poster size resolution. I snap mine at 2816X2112 which allows me to be able to zoom & crop without pixel bleed which is what makes them fuzzy.

Before and after pic's are nice for advertising but since I have thousands of pic's already, anymore I take them for liability reasons so I have way more before's.

Here's a vinyl that's not on my website. If you want it, I'll need to zip it and email it since they are about 2.2 MB each.

I have a very good camera and I have been snapping pictures of the really bad houses trying to get some good shots...but the pictures dont seem to come out good enough where I would want to use them on a flyer. I really am working on it !!

I would appreciate it very much. email is Tom@oxfordlawn.com

wow! 60 views and 1 offer LOL. I didnt realize these were so closely guarded. OK I will keep trying to get some better shots but I wanted to get this mailer done. Took lots of pics today, even of a nasty house we werent cleaning, right next to the one we were, but felt it would be a good one to have. well back to photoshop I go.

I will tell u that using someone elses pictures and not being able to duplicate the work is not always a smart way to go. If u have a good camera there should'nt be a problem with posting your own work along with your own equipment?

We all have hundreds of B/A shots we can send you but I still dont see the point in showing customers work that is not yours?

I had a feeling this thread was going to end up going in this direction. I have been a member of different forums on different topics and many of the same responses always show up. I am able to duplicate the work just cant seem to get good quality pictures of the work and dont want to have vague blurred shots sent out in print. Dont judge by posts or join date. Im not saying im a veteran but am experienced enough to be confident in my abilities.

I was looking for sharp clear quality pictures for advertising media mailer...not posting on a forum.....big difference.

like I said..I am trying and working on it!

My camera takes good pictures if I clean the lens off. Other wise they look like this. GREASY!

Tom, I kinda agree with Nick, but think you're taking it the wrong way. If you do good, quality work, then spend the money and get a good camera. I take my pics from my HTC Evo phone, and they turn out awesome. You have to have money to make money unfortunately (in most cases), so if you're serious about your business, you would have a nice camera, it's a necessity.
What would you tell a customer that asks if that is your work in the pictures on your fliers? It would look bad (at least to me) if you could not say you did that work. It would make it look like you were just starting out and didn't have anything of quality that you have completed.
I say just hold off on the fliers, get a real camera, take several before and afters, then make the fliers.

Point taken and understood. Really I understand...and as stated in the third post of this thread I have a very good camera and am working on putting together pictures of my own. Just not getting the quality I would like to put out in a mailer flier as of yet. Why cant I use someones picture of a really dirty house, and say "dont let your house get to this point"?? Your all stuck on the fact that im going to use them and say this is my work and look how great I am. THATS NOT THE CASE--that was assumed.
Fortunately, in my area(The Villages FL.) everyone washes their houses religiously every 6 months to a year so its very rare to come upon a really dirty house, and I cant get the minor mold and algae to show up good in the pics. Theres not a drastic difference in the before and afters so I wanted some dramatic difference pics. ANd then I was going to use the premise of dont let your house get to this and am shooting for the new homeowners of which I have the mailing adresses for the new home sales in the last year. Thats my whole story. thats all I had intended and came back here looking for some good quality pictures to be shared.

That's a different story and not as bad now...

If you just want dirty house pics for your fliers, I found many quality ones by just searching on Google Images. I would send you some "befores", but I only do commercial. Good luck

Ok so heres a house from yesterday...as you can see it is barely noticeable the before and afters...the houses just arent allowed to get dirty LOL .

These are from today...2 different houses...the driveway I am going back to tomorrow to get the "after" shots when its dry. The white trim on the one house is about the extent of it, thats the worst they ever get. I am trying and getting better with the lighting(sun glare), size, pixels, cropping...a photographer I am not, but getting there:eek:k:

I wouldn't use a google image search. Those images exist on google because they exist on someones web page.

I emailed you a bunch more....not poster sized though.
