Give your Delavan the HOOK UP!!!

Pressure Washer Products would like to offer a suction side ag hose and all pvc filter for use with your Delavan pump.

We recommend flooding the suction side of your pump. Use at least a 3/4" ag type hose no more than 14' long with a slotted pipe filter in your tank. Attach the, crimped end with the 1/2" mpt with brass ferrule to your Delavan 5 gpm or Fatboy pump and drop the flexible hose down through the opening in the top of your tank or drum. You may use a length of 1 1/4"or 1 1/2" PVC to slip over the flexible to act as a sleeve to keep the filter at the bottom of the tank. Using a crimped on fitting will eliminate the need to deal with hose clamps that loosen over time. You will secure an airtight seal by using liquid teflon or pipe dope.

I really like the idea of that slotted pipe.

Before you posted about that earlier this year I had not heard of it before.

It is a great idea for the more harsh chemicals like bleach, roof cleaning mix and maybe even acids?

Hmmmm. Go with at least a 2" feed. It would be best if it were fed from the bottom of the tank using gravity. Chris...Great question!

Not sure. You will have to call them. I normally just use oxalic but most of my jobs are just sulfur stains from irrigation.

I have the slotted PVC Filter on my pump. Wouldn't run my pump without it. I have mine weighted down with stainless 1/2 bolts and stainless wire.
