I am trying to put together some type of flyer/handout: one for residential and one for commercial.

Just something to give the potential client besides a business card when speaking with them.

Does anyone have any ideas or anything to share?

Commercial: is easy just depends on how much you want to spend. You can add or put your own spin on this stuff.

  • Get some stickers with your logo and info done up by some graphics guy in your area you can get them pretty cheap depending on how many you purchase.
  • Get some solid color business folders that match your main logo color. The ones with the card holders in them. You can pick these up for anywhere from .50 - 1.00, just look around for the best deal. Wal-mart, office depot, ect.
  • Get on Microsoft Word and make a letter head. Put your mission statement and some company history on a page. List services on another, customer references or letters of appreciation, affiliations or organizations your connected to or charities(always looks good), and perhaps a brief pricing description on a few more just not too many. !!!!!5 or less !!!!!
  • Place the sticker on the folder and the card and pages inside. You have a nice business packet for a inexpensive price.
If your planning on doing a lot I would go ahead and get the folders done with your logo printed on them, it will save money. Vista print has alright deals here's the link, If your just handing out say 50 or less this is probably the way to go.

Residential: Pretty simple stuff too with great results.

  • Just go to wal-mart or office depot and get CARD STOCK paper. It will print through a ink jet or laser printer. You can get 50 sheets for 5 bucks at the mart.
  • Get on Word again slap your letter head on a single page, and grab some pics and your slimmed company history maybe your mission. Slap some services and free estimates down at the bottom and print it out.
  • Don't crowd the page too much. Try to space it out and make sure the font isn't too small.
  • Flip all the pages you printed out over, center your logo on a blank Word page and print.
  • You will have a nice clean logo on one side, and co. info on the other on a nice sturdy card stock sheet to hand out to residents along with your card. This also is great for small to mid commercial clients, so you don't have to spend so much on business folders.
Hope this was what you were looking for. If you have any questions or need any help just call or e-mail.
