Hey members. got a call today to cleanup smoke (soot) from outside of a metal sided trailor and awning. ? whats the best way removing soot from this. Thought i would 2 step with mild degreaser or housewash mix. any advise would be appreciated.

do you have any pics? 2 stepping with a good truck soap should work just fine.

Yes I will get picts out tomarrow. we tested an area today and found that the truck soap we use will work fine. Was a little concerned that it wouldnt come completly clean as some staining from the soot and heat. But customer will be replacing some of the heat damaged panels. Thanks for your input. :)

Heres some before and after picts of a parkmodel that was damaged by fire. concrete drive is very old and worn did the best we could and didnt come out with my best intentions as rubber and plastic was melted into the surface:( It took us around 3hrs to complete and customer was very pleased with our work.

Pictures look good.

Were you contacted by the owner or an insurance adjuster?

This is a good opportunity for you to send copies of those pictures to other insurance company adjusters to show them your work and possibly get more from them.

Very nice! Good work.

Nice work Robert. I bet it probably looks even better than before the smoke damge.

Hey chris. we were contacted by the property owner from this park and he refered us to the owner of the unit. I will keep that in mind with ins adjusters thats a great idea and I do know a couple of people who work as ins adjusters ;)
