This photo was taken somewhere over the Saudi desert. The angle is from the boom operators seat in the refueler KC135.

#1 son's plane is being refueled. He's back for two months then off again to the "desert".

Isn't that an RC-135? I spent many a day (and night) refueling from tankers just like that during Desert Storm. I flew A-6 Intruders in the Navy and we often refueled from Air Force tankers. You can tell it's USAF because it has a boom rig for refueling. Anyway, that's how my business got its name.

My son is an EWO on the RC135 out of Offit NE. You were probably refueled from the tankers that were stationed at my camp in Oman during the storm. Hope the pic brings good memories for ya. God bless ya Navy, I'm a retired AF medic.
