I rent a garage, and give keys. I love having all of my equipment safely indoors at all times. You have to give keys........you can't be there everytime they need to get something out of the garage.......
Here is a picture of the garage I occupied from 2001 to about a year ago. I shared it with someone else. My landlord built a new garage about 100 feet from this one............and I talked him into adding a section onto the back of it just for me. My section is 13 feet wide, and 47' deep. I have my own overhead door, normal door......and a ten foot high cinder block wall divides my section from the rest of the garage.
My F-250 w/ SuperCab and 16' trailer fit in there all hitched up. It's very convienent. After construction had already begun, I talked him into putting an 11' high door instead of 10'..............so box trucks will fit in as well. The new garage looks the same except its dimensions.
