That is a great idea!

Just need to find a place on a skid were it will not be seen easily and to connect power to it without the wires being seen easily.

I wonder if the you or the police could use this to find the skid if the trailer is stolen?

I bet this would be a good idea for cars, trucks, heavy equipment, etc..... if you or the police could track it.

Those are nice my brother has something similar to that on his equipment. He has the ability to be notified when it moves, hours, how fast they are going, idle time and he can shut the vehicle down if it moves out of a range he sets.

Yes Chris If your trailer got stolen you can track it with your phone or computer it will tell you where the device is located. Also you set up what they call a geofence (for example if you set up a geofence for your backyard if your trailer leaves the geofences perimeter that you set it will send you a text or email saying that your device has left the geofrence perimeter and Im going to hardwire the device into the case where the skid battery is in.
