Envirospec Thread

Wait where is the post from John? Now I look like a complete a-hole

First, you are...:jester: Second, if it is missing, I did not delete it. Maybe John did, using his super powers.

[QUOTE=Russ Spence;223611]I dont see it quite that way, I like to save money just like anyone else but not at the expense of someone putting themselves out of business. I want them to make money off of me, I challenge anyone to find a distributor that I have beat down on pricing, they offer a price and if I need it I will buy it.

I will be the first to say I do not do business with any one single distributor, I dont buy from one because they are cheaper either, not that I keep anyone in business with what I buy I just try to spread it around a bit. I have noy yet had the pleasure of doing business with Paul or John, I do like what Paul does on these boards and I wish him all the best as I do John.

I look at it the same way. Russ Johnson has help me more than anyone distributor with out him even knowing. I have read his pass post and have called him on a few questions. Now he might be buck or more but you have to help those who help you. You pw who ask for help and he freely gives it, or calls him and he nurses you thru it. Russ gets you out of a jam. Then you go out and buy it at envorspec why, cause its cheaper.
That is crap :slap: it really piss me off.
John I dont know you but I go with who helps me.
When Lori back out of Tampa on the pw who step up Russ Johnson and he didnt even go to the RT. That was BIG

Over the years I bought from Delco,Sunbrite,ACR,Pressure Tek,Envirospec North and South(Paul and John), Industrial Equipment(My Local Distributor) and a few others. I have different reasons why I buy from them. Before the net I only bought from my local Distributor and in the 90's a cold water belt driven PW cost me $2200. The internet and Roundtables/Conventions changed all that for me and my company.

Still to this day I bring my equipment if I can't fix it to my local guy and I still buy chemicals and things off of him. My days of depending on one Distributor is long gone. They all have there strengths and weeknesses and I migrate towards what they do best and sometimes thats pricing and other times its service. On top of that its how they treat there customers and I am a customer.

Same goes for PW Bulletin boards. I like at least 5 of them because there different and there all good for me and my business.

This is the reason I buy from her all the time. Lori and her family are great people and provide great customer service.

How did you find PWP? Just curious if you found them from PWI.

They have low prices for sure, some of the lowest around. If your getting great service thats all that matters to you.

I enjoy my local guys and some of the others I have made freinds with here. Price is very important for sure, getting a product when you need it is more important than often price can be.

I mean if you cannot get a price no matter how cheap, or if the part causes down time then sometimes you pay more for cheap parts than you realize.

I have found reliabilty is my number one reason I buy from the people I purchase my supplies and get my support.

Example, Distributor X has the best price but always on Back order. Distributor y has the part for a couple dollars more and always stocks the part. Its easy my time is worth paying a few more dollars to save the hassel and time wasted while a machine is down. :winknudge:

I used Lori from Larry and PWI. But its been almost a year since I have order anything from her.

I will say this for every distributor I have done business with, Pete has taken my calls as has Tracy at Sunbrite and they were always very helpful, Bob was the same way, always took my calls and helped anyway he could BUT Russ, has taken them and called me back on weekends, at night, not too long ago I called him early one morning, he was busy and called me right back told me to check a few things, I got up and running and hurried to finish up, it was about a 5 hour job and 2 guys working and I forgot to call him back, upon leaving I noticed several missed calls and a few voice mails and they were all Russ at Southside wanting to make sure I was up and going, I called him back and thanked him, chatted for a second and back down the road I went. That was very special and it makes you feel good knowing someone cares that much about you and your business.
