Congrats Ron Musgraves UAMCC BOD President

Jeff, don't twist my words to insinuate that I am a liar. Feel free to search all the boards to find any place I ever promised I would run. I only promised that I would NOT run until at least a year had passed from Carlos' departure and that I would not accept an appointment at all.

Let me simplify it. It's like you telling your wife you promise you won't cheat till Christmas and New years coming around and her getting on your case because you haven't cheated yet like you promised!!!! See how goofy that sounds?

I haven't lied. I haven't broken any promises. I leave you with the challenge to find anywhere that I promised I would run for the board and quote it right here. Until you can do that, please stop accusing me.

I know it's driving you crazy that you won't be able to dish out some grief to me as a BOD to give me some of my own medicine. But let these guys that are left get the glory they deserve.

They pulled it through when I thought it was past impossible. I'll take a little credit for being a fire under their butts at times to stir things up and get them moving. But it's guys like the current BOD (especially John Orr) who deserve all the accolades and honor for pulling this thing though. At the end I had a spastic attack and gave up. John never gave up. I don't think the other two did either.

I need to step back after my tirade. I failed the org by doing that and I need to learn from that mistake. Others who failed the org are all the ones who joined or got on the BOD for the purpose of putting it on their resume. Those guys need to take a look at Mike T, Randy and John and see the example of what a real BOD looks like. Even though there were times when they were guilty of doing nothing, they stepped up to the plate and put the pedal to the metal when they had too.

I'd also be very careful about getting to cozy with guys who are deep in the other org. They want you guys gone in a bad way. That's a fact. Just be wary of that. I can't stress the importance of that enough.

Jeff, you would make a good BOD. You are good at drudging up support and you are loyal. Ron would be a good addition. Some guys like Matt from Colorado Pro Wash or Chris Chappell would be good. Chris attends almost every event. If the org stood for things that Chris believed in, he would be a good ambassador at the events. That's just a few. There are plenty of guys, including some of the original members who would make good BOD.

I can still support the org from outside a BOD position. I understand how you might feel that I'm "chicken" or something. But it's not like that at all. The guys who know me know that. You need to come out here for a couple of weeks with the wife and get to know me on a personal level a little better. Then you will know that your conclusion is incorrect. Come on out in January when both our businesses are slower and we'll take advantage of the slow season discounts and have some nights on the town. We can go to Studio 54 and pretend we are 20 again. (or, in your case, go there and pretend it is last weekend again! :) )

Anyway, It's not going to happen Jeff. If you'll go back and read my final posts on the UAMCC board you will see that I did make a promise that I was done. (in an official way) It was a mistake to promise that, but it's done.

Tony I read at least a couple times when YOU said you would not take an appointment and only would go on the BOD if elected. If you refuse to take a nomination then you are changing your wholeeeee story.

Two reason.....
1)I want you on the BOD, sure so you can see its not that easy, sure I & others would spank you if you F'd up

2) Because the UAMCC needs BOD members and just possibly you may actually look at this and say yes, I can help and actually help

All the other names, I hope they all run for the BOD, 2, 3, 4 5 guys cant do it, you really need the 9 guys to spread out the work load

The FACT is you said you would do it. I cannot believe because you got frustrated you are just picking up your toys and leaving. Tony gosh dang it, you have wreaked havoc, unjustified and justified and now yes I think you are weaseling out.

Dont you think every Tran Team member and BOD member got frustrated, especially after constant attacks, but for the Tran Team, they hung in there and many on the BOD did too. I am sort of frustrated that many took BOD positions and then just left after a month or two.
I just can't believe you, after these past 3-4 years, you saying if nominated & elected you would be on the BOD and NOW...NO, reconsider Tony, dont worry about people coming after you or people baiting you, just stand up and truly do something to move the UAMCC forward...Isnt that what you say you want?

Hey is it the money? Shit I will buy your membership too, but you'll have to buy the first two Royal Flush shots next time we see each other

You're just trying to find a way to weasel out too LOL. Well Congrats, just do a good job when you are elected to the BOD

Do you have to be a millionaire to be on the BOD?

You don't need to pretend to be one, George I'm just a regular guy like you.

Join the bod I think you would be good.

It would take some soul searching. Doing it for the right reasons is important. Maybe it is the same concern Tony has... I would love to do it someday though.

If you or anyone runs and gets on BOD, be aware it is a commitment and yes work

I'm not afraid of commitment Jeff. How much commitment do you think it takes to follow Ron around for three years and fight his battles? :)

It's Friday, Let's have fun!

Fun it is today. Just got back from some Xmas shopping with my beautiful wife. Got a bunch of stuff and also bought the mother in law a washing machine (not a pressure washer) she needed one bad and now going to go do lunch and Bloody Mary's with my Lisa and then more Xmas shopping, its a GOOD day today. The crews are out making me money and I'm spending it.

Ho Ho Ho

I had some jobs I had to go on early this morning, but now I'm done for the day. We only have stuff scheduled out to about 2pm then everybody will be done for the day.

We're going to Appleby's to take them up on the free veteran's lunch, then will spend some family time, maybe yard selling or something like that, just for fun.

It's waaaaay to early for me to Christmas shop! You must be one of those guys who likes to get everything done early.

Done early kind of guys LOL, thats not me. I'll be shopping right up to the day before Christmas. I love toys, so my kids get spoiled rotten at Christmas

We didn't quite finish all our shopping yesterday. This is the first weekday my wife and I have gotten together in a long time. Went for lunch, ate and had 1, 2 3 .....bloody Marys and the next thing I know we are doing all kinds of good shots closing down Knuckleheads with the owner and a bunch of crazy biker chicks. Funny times Christmas shopping LOL. Guess I'll be shopping tonight after I coach Joshua's last football game of the season. GO Joshua ...Yay!

Hope you enjoyed your lunch. Oh ya I just nominated you, Go Tony
