Commercial Flatwork

thats commercial but how much for residential flatwork?

I used to start at $125.00 for the standard 2 car driveway that is 20 x 20. I usually included the walkway to the front door as well.
Don't do much residential anymore, and when I do, it is not cheap. I hate residential.

It all depends. Just liek Ron said. I am not going to charge a restaurant the same as a parking garage. I also am not going to do something that is 100 sq. ft. the same as 10,000 sq ft. There are a lot of variables. I do have a minimum charge, and stick pretty closely to that.

Tjis topic is going as planned , I knew it would go many different directions

Just to add to the discussion I have done some as low as .02 to .03 but it is on a monthly or better contract

russ,
that price sounds extremely low, im guessing the jobs you charge these prices are huge and are cleaned quite often:confused:

yes but when you are cleaning over a million square feet per month you can afford to adjust the price

when i do the math the numbers just don't add up for me.

I never charge a residential buy the sq ft, instead i do an hourly rate of $75 per man. If it's roof only and they want a sq ft price, i start @ .12 and go up from there depending on the pitch and difficulty of the job..

Commercial is .05 to .08 on average for flat work. Like Russ said before, if it is a huge job i will come down in price if i have to.
