Cold Calling/Selling???

How many cold call on a regular basis??

I myself call at least five people a day and have yet to receive a lead from it. It's easier for people to say no over the phone than it is in person!!!

Selling face to face or fliers....

we have received more phone calls from fliers than anything! I go out to business and do commercial sells while my husband works or is selling with me.... Have landed some contracts....

Does the yellow pages actually work??

I have heard negative and positive on here about it. Some say they didn't get a call from it and some say it has paid for itself in the long run???

If you do cold call what is your pitch line???

I would cold call paint contractors if I did.I do a lot of work for several paint contractors, and remodelers they are close to half of my workload.

I also have had some good luck with fliers, but I only target high end places with them.

Yellow pages are probably worth the money for a plain number ad i wouldn't go with the high dollar stuff, but thats just me.
