Cleaning paint off limestone

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this. I have several large sections of limestone steps, that have paint drips on them from over the years. The customer asked if they could be removed when I washed them. I'm sure the drips are both latex and oil based paints. Any ideas?

I have removed alot of spilled paint with high heat, no problem.

I had tried a little heat (160-180 degrees) last time I was on site, but I got to be careful not to burn the grass with the hose. It didn't begin to remove any of the paint. I know latex paint can usually be burned off with high heat, but I'm sure this has some oil base paint and, or primer on it.

Do NOT use a turbo on limestone! You will rip it to pieces. A paint stripper may also discolor the steps. Give me a call and I'll try to help you out.

Yea, deffinately no turbo on limestone. I found a limestone cleaner somewhere online a few weeks ago, and I thought there was a graffeti remover for limestone on the same site, but I can't seem to find it now. I was afraid of what a paint stripper would do. I'll give you a call Henry, and see what we can figure out.
