what is the truck washing soap like?
is it a one step chem. can you get more outa it then the 1 drum... (concentrate) or is it a ready to product thru the p/wer.......

Dan, The Truck Wash kit is a thick syrup that comes in a drum , just fill that drum with water and it will make a drum that can be metered at 100:1. It also comes in a drum that can make two which can be metered at 50:1 each or one drum ready to be metered at 50:1 as is. Most downstream chemical injectors have a dillution rate of 7:1. If my math is correct you should be able to mix 1 gallon of this mixture with 6 gallons of water and obtain a 49:1 ratio through injector. It is a one step chemical or can be used in two step (contains Sodium Hydroxide),it works well in cold water also but at a 25:1 ratio. We use it as 1 step. Feel free to call me with any questions or as always you can post them on the board for The benifet of others. We also have a non- hydrofloric acid Alum. brightener.
Thanks

I believe that If you go thru the up-stream side it's appox. 16 to 1........depending on how much you open the valve......so if it's doing 16-1 then at what mix should it be applied at? right outa your one drum?
how about if you are pre spraying...at what mix shall we say then? 10-1? or greater?

the reason i ask i thoought i would get as much info. as possiable then use the product.....enstead of wasting soap.....

Thanks for your input.... and I dont believe I have your ##.....

also what kind of shipping cost are we talking about? im in the central part of PENNSYLVANIA.....

Dan, If you have a 16:1 ratio I would mix 1 Gal. of chemical with 2 Gal. of water. That should give you a rate of about 48:1. I need your zip code to calculate the freight rate. I have the software to calculate it, minus the fuel surcharge. Most of the time I am within a few dollars. You can also use a dema valve to meter straight out of the drum. Give me a call at 1-800-357-6295 If you feel the need to pre soak prior to application try mixing a 25:1 ratio in a pump sprayer or a sureflo pump. We pre mix chemicals in 30 Gal. drums and run through a sureflo pump therefore bypassing the chemical injector completely. One man sprays soap and another is about 1/2 of a truck behind him washing the soap off. This will cut your wash time in half, excluding setup and packup.

Steve,

I will try and call ya sometime today ...........

If the shipping is'nt too bad then after the new year I would like to give your chem. a try .But if the shipping is outa this world I may as well stay with the same chem. Im using now ....after all the whole reason behind looking for another cleaner is savings in the ole $$...... and getting a product that works....

In the summer and or non- frezzing days we pre-spray with a shur-flo....we are currently using a 10 gal of concentrate to make 55 gal...........and it works great.... but now with the winter comming ( i think) ...we are using up-stream..........

Dan, Give me a call today, I believe the freight rates are reasonable. I also have a super concentrated wax you can add to the truck wash that makes it easier and adds a shine to the trucks. One drum kit of truckwash will make two drums that you meter 50:1. That means you can take one gallon of concentrate to make 50 gallons ready to use through the Sureflo. If you mix it like this you can add only 3.3 oz. of wax per drum. If you use the wax by itself it has a 600:1 ratio,( not a typo) If you want to use it with your upstream add 3.3 oz. of to every 3 gallons of mixture I calculated for you a couple of post back.
Thanks,
Steven E. Rowlett

Ron, I have one customer that said they were going to order this week and I sent catalogs to one in Florida, Both of our new catalogs are on our website. They include data and MSDS sheets that can be printed right off the site. One catalog is strictly car & truck wash products. Thanks for your interest. . Did you get my message about the RPC logo? Give me a call when you have a chance at 1-800-357-6295 I can also help caculate ratios for each equiptment application.
