Our demo crews all have flatbeds with boxes and racks and they love them, mostly because the tools can be gotten to easier than a trailer could. However it is not uncommon to be missing smaller items from the truck when we travel out of town. Our enviromental crews all have vans generally for storage of expensive materials and to haul our temps around in, and they all have their own trailers which usually works out very well for them except for the manuverablility standpoint but that is only a small drawback. If it were up to me I would have a 1 ton powerboard truck (cherry picker/crane boom) and nice enclosed trailer for my PW and equipment. But thats only for piece of mind, cause I really don't like for things to walk off.
