Larry, HF Acid was the choice of chemical in the past for many car washes in the northeast. But due to safety issue regarding inhalation, skin contact, as well as reclaim system protection, (a lot of car washes recycle the wash water to use in the undercarriage spray in the automatic bays), they chose to formulate a different product. The two I've personally used are phosphoric acid based.
