Have you considered on joining the PWNA so you can advertise on there bb and of course write off the membership expense??

Also down the road if there is a PWNA convention that is closer to your home you can even consider getting a booth to sell some of your items.
 
I have considered it. I am still trying to figure out the benefits of joining. What do you think about it?
 
Don't forget about the Vendor Discount Program. You give the PWNA members a 5, 10, 15, or whatever percent discount and you get free advertising in return. Everyone wins.

The pwna bbs is growing rapidly and would be a good place for you to market. The membership would most likely pay for itself.
 
Mike, I was unaware of the free advertising. How do you mean free advertising though? On the BBS or somewhere else?? I am going to check out their membership rates in a few minutes.
 
Good luck Michael. Seems like only 12 months ago that you were getting into the PW business, my how time flies.

Cleveland must be a hot retail market what with Bob and Justin and now you're selling equipment. Whatever became of Justin, he was building trailers then selling equipment and then he vanished "to do his own thing."

Suggestion: put some pictures of the nekkid girls from those clubs you used to work in throughout the catalogue, that will really set you apart from the rest. Make a fortune!

I have been actually doing this type of work since I worked for my uncles concrete company when I was 14. I ask stupid questions sometimes for a reason. Want to know why, email me. Anyway, thank you for saying good luck. I was told something about Justin, but I don't want to repeat it. I don't know if it was just someone pissed at him, or the truth. Either way, it wasn't good. Funny, as for the naked girls comment, someone else just said that same thing to me today. If you want some pictures of them, let me know and I can send them to you, or even give you the clubs web sites. he he.

What Mike Hughes is saying is that there is NO ADVERTISING allowed on the PWNA board unless you are an Associate Member. That is one of the benefits of the membership. It is not fair for the paying Associate Member to allow anyone to advertise equipment and supplies if they are not a member. This does not go for a contractor who posts used equipment in the appropriate forum. If there is any question in regards to the membership or rules of the BBS. Please feel free to contact the PWNA office or any of the Board Members listed on the website pwna.org , you will also find membership benefits there also. Feel free to contact me also with any questions. Thank you, Mike, and as others have stated good luck with your new venture.

Everett, thank you for the info. I did some more reading on the pwna and I will probably be joining in the next few weeks.
Beth, lol. I may be a little twisted sometimes, but I would never do what the orange guy did. I would never post illicit pictures on here or on any website. I will however point someone in the right direction if they want to see those pictures, he he.
 
Beth and Michael, I looked everywhere for orange girls until someone suggested (I don't know if I can say it here, Hooter's).
Which brought to mind Steven R, who likes to eat lunch there. Perfectly healthy and harmless! The are no pictures of girls mixing chemicals or using equipment on his site. I will say that when it comes to Steven, what you see is what you get: a very honest, honorable, down to earth, knowledgeable, sincere individual who has no airs about him. He's the salt of the earth and someone who has my respect.
 
First of all, the pictures that are posted on the "orange guys board" are not illicit. Maybe its not everyones taste but hey it works for him! Everyone will have there way to promtote themselves and Mike I am sure you will find a way yourself.

Thanks everyone, hey, I don't care if he has chicks up on his site, but I do know some don't like to see it. I will keep my comments about Steve to myself. I won't comment on anyone personally anymore on these boards. I will keep it professional. Thank you everyone for the kind words. You can keep them even kinder by giving me a call when ever you need to buy anything and at least checking my prices. Maybe I went to far with the word illicit. I apologize.

We are always on the look out for a parts vendor that offers great prices and customer service.I saw some of your ebay auctions seems like everything is priced real reasonable.I wish we could afford a Bigguy but it's not in the budget until later in 04.

I would have to agree with indiana jones,Steven R is a great guy who is trying to accomplish the same thing all of us that come to these BBS are,and that is making PWing easier and more profitable for everyone.If it weren't for these BBS and people like you and Steven I would still be on the low end of the learning curve of PWing.
