Guys and Gals, sorry I haven't been here in the last few days but, Saturday evening I was blessed with a brand new baby girl. I am sure you can see why I have not been here and things have been a little hectic around here. I did however have to postpone our meeting for a few days, they completely understood. I wasn't expecting the baby this soon, she was 2 weeks early. Anyway, anyone giving me info. PLEASE e mail it to me, I am saving all info. the same way, in the same format, so please e mail it to me.
thanks.

Mike, Please e-mail me when you have a chance.
To verify that you recieved my e-mail. Thanks Kyle.

Or post it on here.

Here's an update. The meeting last week had to be re-scheduled due to my daughter being born. The PM controller was very understanding and we have made a new meeting date for this Wednesday. We spoke briefly on the phone and he seems very happy with what I am ready to offer him and that we are both based in the same area. We did not get into particulars yet, that will be on Wed. but he did seem very interested. I have a lot of areas covered, but not all. I will hope to have some concrete information on Wed. evening. If I am unable to post that night, I will post info. on Thurs. Also, if any of you haven't e-mailed me your info. yet and just posted it here, PLEASE e-mail it to me, that is now I am keeping the data base.
Thanks and let's keep those fingers crossed.

Send me an email of what areas you dont have covered, I'll let you know if I know someone there.......

I'll take anything in California and Nevada. Can roll out as many units as required. However, if Simon or Gen'l Growth are looking for cheap, I'll pass.

Hey Trevor strange that for a guy in Florida you're willing to send units all the ways across the country to CA and NV.

I get the feeling we know you under other names and that your local right here in So. CA.

Same guy who has business in NV, AZ and TX.

Hmmm, any others get this feeling or am I alone on this?

Trevor, not really sure what you are talking about.
Next,
Here's the deal, and this is not meant to make anyone mad at all. If you don't have your company name on your replies to this thread, do you honestly think I would sub out work to you? I don't want people working for me that won't say there company name, gives me a bad feeling that you may be hiding something.
Second, I have posted a few times here that if you are interested to e-mail me with your info. because that is how I am saving it in my data base. Sorry guys, but if you can't follow that direction (which most of you have) then do you really expect me to believe that you will follow the directions I give you in respect to cleaning the shopping centers.
Like I said, this isn't meant to make anyone mad, I am just getting frustrated trying to get this contract and get qualified subs at the same time. I am sure most of you professionals out there know what I am talking about.

Good point Mike. I have never understood someone trying to hide behind another name.

I was raised to face life as a man. Some of us are mice. LOL.

Update:

Meeting over, not good results, well, not for now anyway. I/we didn't get the contact as of yet. It wasn't a definite "NO", it was a no for right now. The deal breaker seemed to be my unwillingness to guarantee the same quality work I give will be given by every sub throughout the country. Sorry guys and gals, yes, there are a lot of you I do trust to give good quality work, but then there are others I really don't know anything about. An issue of insurance also came up and sorry again, there was no way in the world my Insurance was going to be responsible for anyone elses mistakes. None of this seemed to be points that couldn't be worked out in the future. I will keep working on them and working with them and hopefully in the near future we can sign a nationwide contract, for now I will have to settle with the local centers. When I get the list of all the centers, I will be calling/e mailing some of you to let you know where they are. Sorry it didn't work out this time, hopefully it will soon. Thank you everyone for sending your info. I will be keeping it on file for any upcoming contacts that are out of my area.

What about getting creative with the contract?
I have an idea, and it might open the door back up. It solves your issues with regards to insurance too....
Call me when you get a chance.

Beth

Dont get your hopes down, If it was that easy everyone would have a large contract...

Extreme(Mike C.),
Since this company wants all there places cleaned nation wide how about letting some of us that you pick know which places they are in OUR AREA so we can put in a bid to clean them.

In return we could mention your Company as a reference and also we can give you finders fee (Whatever you deem this $$$ to be) if we get it. OR work it out another way that you might want to do it.

This way you can make some decent Money for your efforts and some other company doesn't come along to try to pick up all of them without you getting nothing.

Look at it like this. I think you said there was about 415 places. Lets say you have 15 already and there are 400 left. Each member that you pick gets a few in there area all across the country and now all 400 stores are taken care. You can charge each of us lets say $200 a piece for your finders fee and thats $80,000 in your pocket. IF you want more money from each one of us then its more money in your pocket.

You could have us sign a contract that states that you get this finders fee if we get the job(Before you even mention the place. This would take some creative thinking so you don't get screwed) and then you are garranteed this money. OR be creative in any other way that you can come up with.

This way like I stated earlier everyone can gain from this Especially you.

SO what do you say??

Mike,

I just picked up a contract from a client that has a finder fee that is total set-up in their favor, I wont sign it because, I dont do work for people like that who I dont know... But here it is a little different, I might sign it here if I feel you giving a good shake over it...

If you are interested I could fax over to you and you could change it to your needs... Simple to follow and it is only 1 1/2 pages long...
