busted my yard sign bandit red handed

So I was working at advance auto today just minding my own business and i noticed a truck pull up and walk towards the street. Thought nothing of it until I saw him walking back with my yard sign. Ive had a bunch all around town and they have been coming up missing and another pressure washer told me this guy had stole all his. So I tried walking out all calm, and asked his name and then I just lost it. Freaked out on him, asked him what the f$c$ was his problem and how many had he taked. He tried telling me this was hust first one that he had taked and hten I proceeded to call him names you wouldnt say in front of your mother.

Told him I was going tothe cops, gonna file a report and hope that I see him again another day. Now I know the cops are not gonna do a damn things, but this was ill at least have it on file, then Im gonna call each news station and the paper abnd see if anyone wants to do a report. i was so pissed, but i held most of it in. hopefully he wont be stealing anymore signs for a while. :smash:
 
i dont know, but i plan on going to all his neighbors houses and asking if i can do their houses real cheap if they let me stick my signs in their yards to piss him off more
 
So I guess wrapping the wire stakes of the sign holder around his neck or whipping with it would be out of the question????? I don't know if I could hold back.
 
Personally, I like the idea of stenciling his face better :angel:
Let's see him remove that sign !! :jester:
 
I quit putting mine around town anymore because they come up missing within 2 days usually!! I'm not sure if its the city taking them down or someone else?.?.?.
But I do know they cost too much to be taken down so fast. So now I just put them up while I'm doing the job....

Travis those are really nice signs, if I am are careful the letters come off real easy and I can stick mine right where you cant see the shadows from yours! :sarcastic:
 
That's the genus of the stencil... the nastier the concrete, the more our stencil stands out. There are only so many ways to 'remove' those signs.

you know though, he might have taked 20 but thats about 60$ and the return i got on those signs for the 5 minutes or so was worth it. I still ahve another 50 more for him to collect, but thats hopefully another 3grand in return

Nevermind taking them out of the ground. We have soooo many contractors down here theyjust take them out of your truck even before you put them out. :rotflmao: Hey,,,where you going with that? Come back here!!! :eek:uttahere:

There are just way too many signs sticking in the ground in this area. Some of them are professionally done up ... who has the time to read them all ??

I've seen the same signs week after week, no one's stealing them.
 
Ya konw guys, these sdigns are called bandit signs for a reason (if not placed on job site and just near street)
 
Its frustrating when you are doing something illegal and then someone comes along and on ups ya with their own illegal activity. I hate when that happens! :sarcastic:


Just bustin your nolies. Were these signs in yards of work you performed or just littering up the streets?
 
Can anyone say electric sign? like a hot wire for a dog but more like a tazzer.
 
That would be a cool idea! Teach them a lesson for stealing the signs!
