black soot

heys guys need help. i got all the algea off this roof but at the bottom of the chiminey theres a long black streak of i guess soot . i got so much kudcutter on it that i scrub with a brush that it will take me 2 weeks to rinse. but the black streak is still there. would simple green or something else help?

Contact bill at newagain he has something. Have you tried red devil or something like it? Most autoparts places sell soot remover for diesel engines might be worth a shot.

ok cool thanks , i got something from lowes a heavy degreasre and carbon remover, its for engines , grills etc. aside from just black algea i realizied there are 2 more kinds of stains on roofs , rust and soot.
