This ride yesterday, raised 250K for the march of dimes. It was a great day for riding, we had 4500 motorcycles all in one place. 45 mile benefit ride escorted by motorcycled police, there was 35 miles of nothing but 2x2 motorcycles.

How about a picture of one of those 4x4 motorcycles?

sorry, we only tranveled 2x2 not 4x4 abreast. That would be absolutely insane to try, esp. with the a** holes here that drive on the these roads.

Thanks Russ,

I hear tell there are some great back twisty roads in you neck of the country also.

good for you Russ, I applaud you efforts. I used to be involved in an organization when I lived in Philly called A.B.A.T.E. We ran a ride called the Toys For Tots near Christmas. We rode to the Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia and everyone was required to bring and unwrapped toy. The last one I was involved in was about 3 years ago and the local news estimated that we had about 50,000 bikes that year. It was an event that we started planning two days after the event finished. was a long process, but well worth it after we saw the look on those kids faces.

ABATE is real big here so is Freedom of the Road Riders. Big time charity starting up. Toys for Tots is already starting.
