Is anyone familiar with Aqueous Hydrogen Chloride? I see that it is being used for descaling. Have you guys ever used it for cleaning any hard water deposits or any other cleaning application?
Tony,
Hydrogen Chloride is actually a gas but when it comes into contact with atmosphere humidity, it basically changes to hydrochloric acid. HCL is very useful in descaling hard water deposits but it should be used with caution. It should always be blended with a corrosion inhibitor and then neutralized after circulation. Just be aware, HCL burns like hell!!
