Anything negative about the business?

I've been at it for nine years now. The thing that bothers me the most is all the down time. I dont do crap during the day except the normal paperwork and cold calls. I'm bored. This blows. Ok, I edited it because it wasnt entirely accurate.

That could mean that you have some time to go out and sell some new accounts.
 
That or Judge Judy reruns.

I believe the bad part of any business is when good contractors do nothing to improve. They open a business to make a few bucks, run it cheap, lowball, never educate themselves, use bad equipment, ask for help when they can't figure out a problem. The list could go on & on. If a contractor, gets involved in a good organization, networks, grow their business, price according to their needs, educate their selves before they need to, they might make it. Belonging to a group of educated, experienced, willing to share contractors will do more for our business in one year then 20 years of banging our heads against the wall. Our business has been around for 11 years now. Our experience is that equivilant to a business of 30 years. I'm ecstatic that I involved our business with profitable, educated business people. It took us three years because of the blinders. (our Ignorance). We only live so many years, work so many years. It is better making a decent living then not. Watching good contractors go broke is negative to me. Thank You.
