Another Bypass Question

A-OK Pressure

A-ok Pressure Washing
I have an AR4G37 pump. I pulled the small 6 inch hose from the supply line and pump head. I pluged the supply line barb and ran a new hose from the pump head barb , which I was told was my bypass, back to the my supply tank. I fired up the machine, when I released the trigger there was no water flowing thru the return line, or I guess you could say it wasn't bypassing.

My questions are.
Does the water flow the minit you release the trigger, or does it take a few minits for the water to flow?

Can this AR4G37 pump be bypassed?

Thanks
Attila

Do I have to change the stock unloader to a different type? If so what type?

Thanks
Attila

we have general pumps, they bypass all the time, even while pulling the trigger, sounds like something isn't right

That's an easy start valve you're messing with. Chances are your unloader is the bolt on type and can't be bypassed to the tank without changing it for another style.

Thanks Russ!

It is a bolt on type! Is there a bolt on type that can be bypassed?

Thanks
Attila

It could be jury rigged but I recommend a different unloader.
