Anyone use Ammonium Bifluoride aluminium brightener? I see some places they claim it's safer than hydroflouric acid. anyone have any pros or cons to using this instead of hydroflouric when washing trucks?
This is something I found,
This economical alternative to our original Aluminum Brightener removes oxidation, diesel oils and resins from aluminum. DO NOT USE on glass or polished aluminum. It is a low foamer that instantly removes welding smut. It is formulated with Ammonium Bifluoride, not Hydrofluoric Acid, so it is safer to use and fumes less. This is our best selling Aluminum Brightener. Soap Strength: High
